The details that bring a room together.
Walls, floors, paint and trim define how the millwork sits within the room. Interior finishing can be planned as a defined scope on its own or alongside cabinetry and renovation work.
Prepare the surfaces
Wall and ceiling preparation, selected drywall installation and joint finishing depend on the existing conditions and contracted work. The desired finish and final appearance should be discussed early.
- Wall and ceiling preparation
- Drywall installation where included
- Joint finishing and surface readiness
- Review of existing substrate conditions
Complete the room
Interior painting, flooring installation, baseboards, trim and feature-wall treatments can be reviewed according to the project. Materials and supply arrangements are recorded.
- Interior paint and finish selections
- Suitable flooring installation
- Baseboards and architectural trim
- Feature walls and millwork coordination
Resolve the meeting points
Floor levels, wall alignment and transitions to existing elements affect the result. Access, protection, work sequence and completion details need to be defined in the agreement.
- Material transitions and trim junctions
- Agreed preparation and finishing scope
- Sequencing with cabinetry and other trades
- Written review of changes and finishing details
Clear responsibilities before work starts.
Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural changes, permits and other specialized work must be specifically reviewed and addressed in the agreement. We do not promise a fixed schedule or guaranteed price before reviewing the property and requirements.

Explore the complete approach ↗Before we begin.
Can you renovate only part of the room?
Selective improvements may be possible, depending on existing conditions, the intended result and the agreed work.
Will the estimate say what is included?
The quotation and agreement define the proposed scope, specifications, supply responsibilities and relevant exclusions.
Can cabinetry and renovation work be combined?
Yes. Projects can combine custom millwork with specified renovation work, subject to the reviewed and agreed scope.
What happens if hidden conditions are discovered?
Unforeseen conditions may need additional review, revised scope, schedule adjustments or a written change order. They should be discussed before proceeding with affected work.
Are plumbing and electrical work included?
Only when specifically reviewed and included through appropriately qualified trades. Specialist work and permits must be addressed for the particular project.
